Sefca FCEV Refueller

Sefca believes that a key component of the hydrogen economy will soon be the Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV). Several major car manufacturers, including Hyundai, Honda and Toyota are scheduled to shortly release an FCEV vehicle. As the name implies, FCEVs utilise a a Fuel Cell to generate electrical power to drive an electric vehicle. The major advantages over battery power vehicle are: extended range (approx. 700km), not temperature sensitive, quick refill (a few minutes), lighter, low level waste at end of life.
Sefca and Acta are working together to produce a distributed FCEV hydrogen distribution system. Importantly, the hydrogen can be generated entirely from renewable energy, including on-site solar arrays.
